Porte dello Jonio

The Shopping Center is a historic point of reference for Taranto shopping. In September 2018 an important extension and renewal project was completed, including a renaming. The new Shopping Center “Porte dello Jonio” is inspired by the local area, with the use of Salento lime and pergolas; it recalls the traditional crafts, that give their names to the different areas of the Mall. A wide commercial offer, a welcoming modern environment, a great attention to sustainability make it a real community Center. The structure is located at the exit from the city bypass. Its catchment area spans across the city Taranto, the coastal area and spreads up to 25 minutes into the inland. The Shopping Centre includes 1 hypermarket and 80 shops, 9 of which are Middle Surface Units.
